"If I were to live in Indonesia again, I would choose to stay in Malang. I have fallen in love with the place since the first time I saw it (in 2004). While I was based in the busy and (a little) crowded city of Surabaya, I would spend my weekends in Malang, which is just one and a half hours away. There I would hang out with my friends, explore the rustic and yet vibrant town, and discover its and other nearby town’s hidden wonders. But Malang has a lot more to offer than just its cool weather, fresh air, delectable cuisine, amiable people, and its excellent universities. The enchanting view of the mountains and hills will not only leave you breathless but will leave you a marvelous experience that will keep you coming back. In 2008, I got the chance to stay in Malang again during a one-day visit. Though a lot has changed (physically which indicates progress), but my friends has remained the same warm, caring, carefree, and gentle people. Should I get the chance, I would love to come back again and again and again to this beautiful town. "

""The trip you organized was amazing! The food was great, the beaches we saw we're beautiful and all thanks to Mister Hosana. Without you, we could have not seen those beautiful hidden beaches in Sempu or eat such a freshly caught fish! You are a very good local guide for Indonesian people, you know the history and managed to arrange a well organized trip to the hidden beaches in Sempu! Thank you again for the very nice experience!""

"Peaceful and clean, Malang left me with a simple and cosy feel a few years ago. What I remember best is a beautiful place of worship with old wooden frames and the cheap and delicious tahu tek at a street side eatery. I also enjoyed a late-afternoon bike ride up a nearby rice terrace, especially watching the sunset while sipping a local drink. Loved being there and I'd love to go back."
